Legacy Prosthetics — Lexington, KY
May 2026 – Aug 2026
- Assist prosthetist in patient consultations, supporting individuals throughout the prosthetic fitting process from post-operative recovery to long-term follow-up care.
- Assemble preparatory prostheses, including socket setup, component alignment, pylon integration, and prosthetic foot installation.
- Gain hands-on experience with prosthetic design, fitting, and adjustment procedures while observing clinical evaluation and patient care practices.
Biomedical Technician Intern
Project C.U.R.E. — Nashville, TN

- Tested, troubleshot, refurbished, and calibrated donated medical devices including ICU monitors, imaging equipment, infusion pumps, ventilators, OR tables, and endoscopy systems.
- Conducted electrical diagnostics and preventive maintenance to ensure device safety and usability.
- Prepared medical equipment for deployment in 40+ humanitarian aid shipments supporting healthcare systems in resource-limited countries.
Systems Engineering Intern

- Assembled and aligned precision detector hardware for the Nab particle physics experiment.
- Supported system integration, testing, and documentation in collaboration with electrical, cooling, vacuum, and data acquisition teams.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
Nematode Evolution Lab — BYU — Provo, UT
Dec 2021 – Aug 2023
- Designed and executed competitive exclusion experiments investigating interactions between Antarctic nematode species.
- Extracted, cultured, and maintained nematode and bacterial populations from Antarctic soil samples for laboratory experimentation.
- Collected and processed field soil samples and applied molecular biology techniques including DNA extraction, qPCR, sequencing, western blotting, and fluorescence microscopy.
- Developed standard operating procedures and trained seven laboratory members to improve experimental efficiency.
